Intensive studies of text images led the designer to a very subtle approach, taking not only single letters but the overall appearance of text settings into consideration.
From this starting point Trine Rask systematically evolved her character designs in order to create harmonically balanced word and text images especially tailored to the four Scandinavian languages. Sophisticated OpenType-features and ligatures help to solve problems with frequently occuring critical letter combinations like gg, kk, tt etc.
